Bridal Trials.
Bridal Preview.
The trial is an opportunity for you to meet your artist and learn about their work/style and for your artist to understand your makeup goals for the big day.
Things to consider.
I always like to remind brides that the goal is not to perfect the makeup or hair, rather to gather details to make the wedding day smooth and seamless!
If you have specific images that you are attracted to, bring them.
Bring images of yourself when you felt the most pretty and confident in your makeup and hair!
This will help your artist find the happy medium between instagram filtered/airbrushed/extension filled images and your real, personal attributions!
How to prep.
MAKEUP:
I always recommend to arrive with clean moisturized skin.
Exfoliate the night before and treat yourself to a hydrating facial mask (hydrate hydrate hydrate).
Makeup artists are not miracle workers, although we like to pretend we are :) If your skin is dry, the makeup will look dry if it is not treated ahead of the application.
If you are coming from work, errands etc... aka life things, we have cleanser and skincare products to get you prepped!
HAIR:
Arrive with freshly cleansed, dry hair. Dirty hair does not hold curls and the look.
Any accessories you want to try, please bring.
If your hair is dry/brittle, give it a deep condition the night before if possible!
Recommendations.
If possible, wearing white to the bridal trial will help you to see how it will look next to your dress.
Choose a top/shirt/dress etc that has a neckline similar to your wedding dress. This helps the artist to see the entire decolletage.
If you are interested in purchasing the lip used at the trial you are welcome to do so that same day to practice applying prior to your wedding for touchup.
During makeup trial, if you know how you are doing your hair (down, up or half up/down) it is recommended to mimic the look to see a preview of the final look.

Neutral makeup gives you more of a flawless look using neutral tones! A neutral look often features fuller foundation coverage, sculpting and neutral colors with more definition in all areas
-
soft glam
Soft glam makeup is a step up from natural makeup, and a step down from full glam.
Unlike a full glam look, soft glam makeup has no harsh lines.
Everything is nicely blended, mostly monochromatic and, well, soft!
-
Full Glam
Full glam makeup typically includes a flawless base, visible contouring, a dramatic eye and a bold lip.
A full glam often will have a fuller false lash with an emphasis on making each feature stand out.
A client who is comfortable wearing more makeup that is visible to the average eye would enjoy a full glam bridal look.
